The best way to find early stage investment is to present at an angel group. This post describes the way to present at the angel groups we belong to.

We also appreciate introductions to prospective investee companies. It helps us a great deal if someone we respect makes the first introduction. Even more effective is an introduction from someone we respect who is also an angel investor, or prospective investor, in the company.

Fundamental Technologies II has a very small team and we get many unsolicited investment proposals - far more than we can even respond to. Sometimes we will be completely "bandwidth limited" during the investment or exit processes with one of our companies. It may be a couple of weeks until we can dig to the bottom of our inboxes.

Please do not be offended if we do not respond to your e-mail. You may have an outstanding opportunity, we just can't invest in them all.
